Still not well but back to work!

Hey so it's 2 months and 5 days :)

Its getting close now! I had my Occupational Health appointment on Wednesday and got lost on the way to the University! I'm going to have to practise driving there and back a lot of times before I start! She asked me about my immunisations and said I didn't need a blood test because I had had enough MMR jabs. She also told me to talk to my doctor about hepatitis b jabs but said if they charge then don't worry about it the University will do it on induction week. The doctors said there would be a fee so I will have to wait until induction week! :-) It was weird going to the university, I felt like a student already as I had to find the building and room! :D I've done my CRB form online and sent of my bursary forms! So feel kinda organised.

I've not been very well for a long time now... seems to be one thing after another, in my last blog I think I mentioned I had tonsillitis... well it got really bad to the point where I couldn't swallow my own salvia :( was horrible. I had to go to hospital and my dose of penicillin was doubled(in liquid form) well I started with a horrible rash and on the 10th day I saw the doctor on friday and she told me to stop taking it and that i've got an allergy to penicillin! :/
so now i've got a really bad rash!! my ankles are the worse but it's all over my body :( annoying so i'm taking anti-histamines daily at the moment! doesn't seem to be doing much though.

I also had my hosptial apointment about my wrist. . . it has been confirmed that it is : arterio venous malformation - AVM = is an abnormal connection between veins and arteries, usually congenital. This pathology is widely known because of its occurrence in the central nervous system, but can appear in any location.

She said that there is a procedure called 'embolisation' where they can reduce the swelling but something would have to be injected. She said it's not dangerous and wont spread so they are going to monitor me for now and will see me in 4 months. I'm kind of relieved but still feel like i'm back to square one!

I started back at work on friday first time in a month!! everyone was so nice and asked where I had been! :) I had missed it there and especially the residents!
I better get some sleep now... i've got to get up at 7am tommorow :/
